Full Stack Software Developer

BoothCentral strives to become the leading in-person and virtual event and management platform for consumer shows and other verticals. As an event management tool, we enable promoters to efficiently and successfully manage every aspect of their event. As a virtual event platform, we allow promoters and vendors of all sizes, experience, and skill set to create and run events virtually. Our company mission is “We make events possible”.

We are looking for a disciplined and motivated software developer to join our startup. You are the right fit if you are a self-starter that requires minimal supervision, loves to write clean and elegant code yet is able to meet tight deadlines. You are at heart a coder who is eager to grow but already sees things through the eyes of an architect – someone who keeps the big picture in mind no matter the task.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

  • Under the direction of the founders, develop new features critical to the growth and success of the company 
  • Troubleshoot and fix technical issues; ensure platform stability and performance 
  • Provide input to and work collaboratively with UI/UX, sales, marketing, and customer service
  • Provide second line support to our customers
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies as necessary
  • Help our customers realize their dreams

We’re Excited About You Because You Have

  • A minimum of 3 years of software development experience in one or more of the following technologies (the more the better): PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, MySQL
  • Bonus if you have experience in the following technologies: Redis, WebSocket, Docker, JIRA, Stripe API
  • An over-achieving mindset who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-starter requiring minimal management supervision
  • Don’t mind working on multiple tasks at once
  • Interested in solving business problems as well as technical ones
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working 40 hours or less a week is not in your vocabulary
