Sales and Growth Leader

BoothCentral is becoming the leading online marketplace and management platform for in-person and virtual events. As a management tool, it enables promoters to efficiently manage every aspect of their events. As a marketplace, it brings both the promoters and vendors together, helping promoters to find new vendors and for vendors to discover and participate in new events. The BoothCentral Live Virtual Events feature is attracting promoters and organizations from across the country to continue their events and operations during these difficult times.

We are looking for a high-energy, innovative and motivated sales leader to join our startup.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the sales efforts for BoothCentral, driving sales performance to meet company objectives
  • Coach, mentor and supervise other members of the sales team
  • Coordinate sales data collection and management reporting
  • Support Business Development and Marketing projects as needed
  • Participate in weekly management meeting as needed
  • Prospect, develop, and close new BoothCentral business
  • Share BoothCentral with prospects and partners through product demonstrations
  • Provide feedback to Product Management and
  • Development team on next-step features and platform enhancements to help satisfy our customers and grow our business

We’re Excited About You Because You Have

  •  2 or more years of B2B sales experience (SaaS experience preferred) or equivalent
  • A highly motivated, over-achieving mindset who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Skills for negotiating business terms and closing sales with line-of-business, senior management and/or C-level executives
  • Expertise in creating and leveraging effective marketing and sales strategies
  • Experience with supervising and developing others, driving improved performance
  • Experience with Hubspot CRM or similar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Proficiency in sales data management and reporting

Requirements

  • Must be available at least 30 hours per week, with potential to go full-time
  • Responsive on email, phone, text and Slack
  • Event industry experience is preferred but not required
  • Ability to think strategically and execute relentlessly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Possess a strong implementation skillset with a process mindset
  • Ability to ask excellent questions and listen actively
  • Self-starter, comfortable working in a remote business model
