BoothCentral’s Virtual LGBTQ+ Career Fair featured on WKOW News

WKOW, the local ABC27 news outlet in Madison, WI, featured a TV news segment highlighting BoothCentral’s virtual event platform and the LGBTQ+ and Allies Career Fair. The segment and online news article detailed BoothCentral’s role in converting the in-person fair into an online experience.

The switch to a virtual platform allowed this vital event to remain accessible to individuals despite COVID-19 restrictions. Jason Rae, President & CEO of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce commented saying, “We know that LGBTQ individuals – as well as allies – want to work for companies and organizations that value diversity and inclusion… This event is so important in our work to build a welcoming and inclusive community.”

The event allowed attendees to share resumes, discuss job opportunities, and connect with representatives from 25+ inclusive companies. This is the first virtual event of its kind for host Wisconsin LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce.
